Handmade, checkerboard pattern end grain cutting board. This wooden cutting board is made of walnut and hard maple. A properly crafted end grain chopping board will be easy on knives, keeping them sharp. This style also will self heal of knife marks and last a life time if taken care of properly. Light washing and a light coat of occasional mineral oil will keep this board looking and working perfectly. These end grain or 'butchers block' boards are made of only food safe non toxic materials and are ready for heavy daily use. My own lives on my kitchen island, and shows no sign of wear after years of use.

Sizing: Choose a size to see the price. All sizing is approximate and may vary by mall amounts to ensure we build out boards as sustainably as we can and minimize our waste. If one dimension is undersize slightly (0.5" or less) the other dimension will be oversized to compensate.
